Association of Builders of Uzbekistan Takes Part in Discussions on Decisions Affecting the Construction Business

Today, the regular meeting of the Public Council for Supporting Entrepreneurship under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held.

Representatives of the Association of Builders of Uzbekistan took part in the meeting and presented their proposals and comments on the draft law developed by the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services. The draft law is aimed at simplifying permitting procedures in the field of urban planning and ensuring proportionality of liability for carrying out construction works without the required authorization.

The Association’s proposals focused particularly on protecting the rights of entrepreneurs in the construction sector, reducing excessive administrative barriers, and ensuring that legal measures are proportionate to the nature of the violation.
