Employers’ rights in focus

On April 28, an open dialogue on protecting employers’ rights in labor relations was held by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Confederation of Employers.
More than 250 business representatives, experts, and HR leaders participated in the event.
During the meeting, Davron Vakhabov was elected Chairman of the Confederation, and regional chamber leaders were appointed as official representatives.
Key topics included simplifying hiring and dismissal procedures, revising compensation for delayed salaries, improving mechanisms for resolving labor disputes, reducing and integrating reporting requirements, and minimizing excessive bureaucracy.
Based on these discussions, measures will be developed to create a more transparent and business-friendly environment for employers.
