Draft Construction Regulation Discussed

The Association of Builders of Uzbekistan held a working meeting to discuss the draft Regulation on the Procedure for Determining Other Costs of Contractor Organizations in the Calculation of Construction Costs.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Association, representatives of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as leading contracting organizations of the country, including JSC "Trest-12", Construction Asia JV LLC, KOC Construction Mekanik Elektrik LLC, United Building LLC, JSC "O‘zshahar Qurilish Invest", SUV Standart Service LLC, the State Unitary Enterprise "Construction Association" under the Office of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Arxitektura Yo‘li Loyiha LLC.

Participants thoroughly reviewed each cost item, calculation formulas, and the practical application of the draft regulation, with particular attention given to ensuring economically justified pricing in construction projects.

Following the meeting, it was decided to develop a consolidated position of the professional community and submit the relevant proposals to the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Association of Builders of Uzbekistan continues to foster an open dialogue between the government and the construction industry to further improve the sector's regulatory framework.
